| Description: | ChaCha Search Inc. is seeking a part-time System Administration Monitor to join the Networking & Operations team in our Carmel, headquarters.
|
| Duties: | *Closely monitor system engines and processes
*Routine testing of system performance
*Prepare outage alerts and reports
*Provide Level 1/Level 2 support ( Hands on troubleshooting)
|
| Qualifications: | The candidate must have:
* Unix administration experience – redhat/centos and/or solaris 9 or 10
* Experience with DNS, apache and networking (including TCP/IP and routing) java and tomcat administration &troubleshooting experience
* Experience with monitoring software (i.e nagios) is a plus
* Knowledge of MS Office applications
* Linux command line knowledge is preferred, but not required
* Good communication and documentation skills
* The ability to utilize methodical thinking in a highly dynamic, fast paced environment
* Team oriented while able to work independently
* Good understanding of written and spoken English
* Must be willing to work nights and weekends in our Carmel, IN headquarters
*Must be available to work one of the following shifts (please indicate which shift) -
Monday-Tuesday: 4pm to Midnight & Sunday 8:00am to 4:00pm
