| Description: | ChaCha Search, Inc. has an immediate need for a senior level web development Engineer. We are seeking someone who is passionate about design, user experience and rich user interfaces. If you eat, sleep, and breath the DOM, JSON, XPath, CSS2, AJAX and XHTML then this is the position for you.

| Duties: | In this role you will be responsible for working with our experienced and award winning UX/Design firm to turn mockups into fully functional UI implementations. You will help design and deliver browser compatibility guidelines, usability tests, validation suites, accessibility recommendations, and best practices documents. |
| Qualifications: | • B.S. in Computer Science or related field
• M.S. is preferred but not required
The ideal candidate must have experience with the following
• CSS
• XHTML
• OO Design and Development
• Javascript
• DOM
• Template driven UI development
Experience with the following is a definite plus
• Agile development methodologies including Scrum and XP
• Version Control Systems (Subversion preferred, CVS okay)
• Java, Groovy, Grails, Struts, JSP
• GNU/Linux
• Web Services/SOA (XMLRPC, SOAP, JSON)
• Bug Tracking (JIRA preferred, Bugzilla or Trac okay)
• YUI (Yahoo User Interface) Toolkit, jQuery
