Description:The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for all industry and consumer events, local public relations, sales collateral development and copywriting to support both national and local sales and the company’s website. The candidate will also participate in blog writing, media advertising purchasing, and social media work.

The Marketing Communications Manager should have experience in the digital media and online arenas and be capable of both thinking “big picture” as well as be able to focus in on escalating awareness in local markets. Experience in mobile marketing is considered a plus. This person will work with the sales team to develop materials and positioning for proposals and support them by developing creative campaign ideas, gathering supporting data for proposals and developing case studies and testimonials in key categories for both national and local sales.






Duties:• Manage events and develop supporting collateral and messaging.
• Develop and drive collateral and powerpoint pitch decks, and perform copywriting to support both National and Local sales efforts. Experience with providing pitch materials to top and second tier agencies considered a big plus.
• Leverage social media method outside resource to help drive advertiser and consumer adoption of ChaCha, ChaCha.me, attendance at events, etc.
• Work with individual National and Local sales people to support proposals with respect to statistics, messaging, graphics, and related. Ensure proposals have consistent messaging and are well-tailored for specific account or prospect.
• Work with web team to update and enhance content on chacha.com.
• Perform all Local PR activities and support locally including writing and editing press releases tailored to individual markets. This includes making calls and coordinating interviews and follow up for all media formats for the CEO, President, and VP of Marketing.
• Work with designers, marketing leadership and executive team to evolve our brand image among both consumers/users and potential advertisers.
• Leverage additional available resources effectively to enhance awareness, including internal employees and Scott A. Jones staff.
Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of 5 years experience in Mktg. Communications, Media Relations, Journalism or related field. Technology or mobile industry experience considered major plus.
• Strong business to business and business to consumer marketing experience.
• Strong PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to hone in on core messages and write consistently and clearly in an influential manner that consistently reflects our brand as energetic, fun and entertaining.
• Must be a strong, independent thinker, with the focus to manage a streamlined process as well as the ability to effectively manage through changing and challenging business needs.
• Strong initiative and assertiveness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Excellent organizational skills, with the aptitude to make and support solid recommendations.
• Highly creative with excellent interpersonal skills. Capacity to work well with a diverse set of personalities across multiple teams to deliver exceptional results.
